Our faculty, led by Dr. Michael de Manincor, combines decades of expertise in yoga therapy, psychology, and traditional teachings. We cultivate a supportive 'Yoga Sanga' (community) that encourages lifelong learning and connection, with a focus on adapting yoga to individual needs rather than rigid practices. Doing my yoga teacher training at The Yoga Institute has been a life changing journey. Learning to develop my own personal practice with Lisa Grauaug has been the most empowering gift i've ever been given in… yoga. And continuing to study the Yoga Sutras with Michael de Manincor is a gratifying journey of ever deepening self inquiry, self discovery and growth that helps me be a better person in the world. I would recommend to anyone considering a yoga teacher training to check out The Yoga Institute, especially if you are interested in taking your practice a few levels deeper, to the Heart

Finding the right place to do your teacher training, takes a while, but I was so happy to find this place, and continue to recommend it for the quality and approach that it has in the teachings of yoga. I love the focus on yoga that is appropriate to the individual and the mind. Highly recommend it!

After many years in Sydney floating around different yoga studios I found one to call home. I completed my 500 hour yoga teacher training and my iRest yoga meditation training at the Yoga Institute and what can I say ... they transformed my world each time. Can't recommend them highly enough
