Our compounding laboratory at Manly Village Pharmacy is the only compounding lab on the Bayside. We are accredited by the Professional Compounding Chemists of Australia (PCCA) therefore our team takes great pride in preparing the highest quality compounded medications. Our compounding staff have undergone extensive training to help you solve challenging medication needs.
Sleep Apnoea

Sleep apnoea is a condition where breathing stops for 10 seconds or more while you sleep. There are many types of sleep apnoea including obstructive and central. Obstructive sleep apnoea is easily treated by our trained consultants using a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine. It is important once diagnosed to use your CPAP machine every night.
Vaccinations

Whooping cough is highly contagious, doesn't have a cure and causes fatalities in one in every 200 babies who contract the disease. Vaccination is recommended to all adults who are or will be in close contact with babies including expectant parents, grandparents, childcare workers and healthcare workers.

I came in during lockdown with a severe sinus infection with a heap of scripts from the Dr. Pharmacy Assistant asked me a couple of basic questions but I was so ill I was terribly rude to her, then cried because I was rude, then continued to apologise and cry and generally not function.
The Pharmacy Assistant was gentle and so caring let me take a box of tissues and sit outside while they got everything ready for me. She could have very easily taken the whole situation personally but her was human and understood my situation. Which is actually rare.
