We have been teaching traditional Mysore-style Yoga for over 25 years in our tranquil studio in the heart of Fitzroy, Melbourne. Our unrivalled timetable offers classes almost every day of the year. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, out of shape or athletic, the Ashtanga Vinyasa system of yoga is a powerful method for improving your flexibility, stamina and strength.
Above all, it creates an atmosphere for opening the heart and consciousness, fostering a greater sense of wellbeing. In the early 1990s we returned home from studying with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore South India. We then began teaching the first daily Ashtanga vinyasa classes in Melbourne. After a number of years moving between some great spaces we finally knuckled down to restoring the 450sq metres of our Argyle St studio.

You will receive a thorough introduction to the foundations of Ashtanga Yoga, building strength, flexibility and focus by connecting breath and movement in a sequence of postures (asanas) from the Primary Series.
