Services
Since 1995, we have been providing general practice veterinary health care to the pets of Kallangur and surrounding suburbs Murrumba Downs, Griffin, North Lakes, Petrie, Dakabin and Kurwongbah. We started out as Anzac Avenue Veterinary Surgery located only one kilometre from our present location. Throughout our name and location changing, we have continued to deliver friendly, professional and compassionate veterinary healthcare.
Our healthcare team can assist you with education, advice and care to ensure your pet has the happiest and healthiest life possible. We provide a full range of medical facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of dogs and cats. In order to keep informed on current therapies and procedures our veterinarians and nursing team regularly attend relevant seminars and education programs.
Veterinarians recommend desexing for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it prevents unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. In females, the spay procedure removes the reproductive organs and immediately stops hormonal cycles with the associated bleeding in bitches, and risk of pregnancy.
Castration of males can help prevent wandering tendencies which can lead to traffic accidents as well as some territorial behaviours in cats such as urine marking and fighting. The latter can lead to many an unplanned vet visit due to injuries which can in themselves require surgery and extensive treatment to resolve.

We recommend and stock a variety of healthcare products for your pets to protect against creepy crawlies such as fleas, mites, lice and intestinal worms. Please contact us for advice so we can recommend a product that suits your pet, environment and budget. We will tailor make a parasite control program for your individual pet, depending on his/her lifestyle and choosing amongst a number of excellent products now available.
Our x-ray facilities allow us to investigate animal injuries and health problems. Having the equipments on hand means we are able to quickly diagnose injuries particularly in emergency situations. This is convenient for you as your pet can have all treatment done at the hospital and also means our patients are given the best opportunity for recovery.

How are these people still in business and who are all these people giving positive reviews, are they all deluded and old?. Not a good vets at all, always seem to be shut and they have stuck up staff who think they are special.
No, much better vets than this. How are they still open with no staff and a poorly executing and very expensive service?.
Who is also giving these positive reviews, because I think most of them are fake.

Very disappointed today with this Vet. I arrived on time for my little dog to be spayed. I was informed they had phoned me and had no success.
My Dog was booked in 3 months ago and I have my phone beside me and my mobile on me at all times.
No alternative message, no mms and no email. I was then told to go to Fairwater if I wanted my dog spayed today !!!
I travelled to Fairwater to be informed she wasn’t booked in and the reception didn’t know about the change. I waited to be seen by a vet who quoted phone numbers and an address that wasn’t mine.
An hour after her original appointment

I normally use a large chain practice but I was informed my indoor cat needed his teeth cleaned. I contacted Wellpets in New Inn as I'm local and it's a small practice and I'm glad I did! The staff are knowledgeable, very helpful and treated my cat as one of their own. He usually stresses being away from home, but on this occasion, he was completely calm and I put that down to the small practice and the staff. Highly recommend this practice 😻

We have taken been taking the dogs we have owned to Richard for over 20 years. Our second dog is now 12 years old and had an operation last week. I dropped him off and was reassured that he would be well looked after which he was. I was updated on the operation and how my dog was doing via text message throughout the day. I returned today for a check up and the staff there were second to none. Very Caring and advising what was best for my pet. Waiting time in new inn is minimal with the animal needs put first. Thank you to all the staff at Well Pets. The operation scar is very neat and my dog is

The problem I have with any vets is that they are leeches and will take you for every penny you have.
I have relentless and constant issues with my dog, fox mange, ear issues, this issue, that issue to the point where I am honestly thinking of putting it out of its misery and having it put down.
But the treatments and costs involved to sort out fox mange, ear issues, etc, etc are now to much to warrant the constant expense of this dog.
I have queried their costs, and it is the same old corporate bull-S reply of, but we hardly make any money, we hardly this and that. Guess what, I do not believe
