We perform in house blood analysis, fine needle, ear and skin cytology, faecal analysis and skin scrapings usually while you wait. Some blood chemistry and specialist pathology tests are send away to Idexx Veterinary Pathology Lab. Most results are obtained within 24 hours. By law this must be done no earlier than 8 weeks and no later than 12 weeks of age.
The new RSPCA building in Wacol now has a 24hr wildlife emergency centre which is recommended in most cases (meantime, we will still provide free first aid care for any wildlife brought in normal opening hours). After treatment, animals that can be rehabilitated are forwarded to licensed carers wherever possible.

First time taking my beautiful Bella in to these guys (after getting ripped off by my local greencross a few years ago, took her in for a health check and walked out $900 poorer). Staff where fantastic and the vet seemed very attentive and knowledgeable. Considering she's a Dane X and 13 I'll definitely be back. Thank you for your help with her.
