Services
We have a comfortable couch for clients and the fur family members to use in our waiting room, leading into two consulting rooms (Cat and Dog). We have vets experienced in many different areas, some with specific interests. Covering skin conditions, eyes problems, ear concerns, lumps and growths, lameness, orthopaedics, behaviour, physiotherapy, geriatric care, puppy and kitten wellness, complex medical cases and illnesses.
We are not professional groomers but are happy to recommend some good local groomers for breed specific clips. We offer warm hydrobaths for large and small dogs and offer it in a range of shampoos, including medicatied and soothing, flea and tick rinses and others. We offer a hydrobath rewards card to earn free baths.
Have you seen those really well behaved dogs and thought, "I'd love my puppy to be like that"? Puppy Pre-school can help you (and your puppy!) start on the right track. Puppy Pre-school is held for one hour per week for five weeks. Classes are held here at the surgery in a dedicated outdoor enclosure and are designed for puppies aged 8 - 16 weeks.
Just like humans, animals require life saving blood transfusions! There are many different avenues to get blood for our canine patient, but we believe the nicest way is a blood donor program. Your dog can give the gift of life to an animal that is sick or injured. Have a great temperament and be able to lay still for 10-15 minutes (some may require a mild sedative).
What we offer is Hospital boarding for animals when owners are going away but their animals are on medications, post surgery or unwell. Giving you peace of mind knowing your animals is in a veterinary hospital with a caring nursing team. Please give us a call to ask for specific details. We can also offer free short day stays for clients who are going to do some shopping in town or have an open home etc if there is availability.

Took my dog Storm to Brookfield Vet clinic after a bad experience at another vet nearby, as he needed a fractured tooth removed and some other dental work done and I just didn’t feel comfortable having this previous place do it.
He is quite an anxious dog and can get nervous coming into the vet, but all of the vet nurses were so welcoming and friendly, they all came around to give him lots of pats and treats to help put him at ease in reception. They could not be any kinder and more loving towards the animals that visit their practice if they tried!
We saw Dr Charlie who was super friendly

I have visited this vet about 10 times now over the last year and a half. Needless to say we won't be coming back.
I can understand where the good reviews come from, the vets are knowledgeable and good with my dog. However the office staff have proven themselves incompetent time and time again. Am I the only one experiencing this??
Everytime, without fail, they'll have lost someone's script or can't find someone's name in the system. While I'm in the waiting room I've seen them casually hand out scripts which 'should be right'. They told me my dog who had passed away was overdue for his heartworm

Can’t fault their responsiveness and service. All doctors - especially Charlie , Kirsty and Catherine are very caring and professional. Best vets in whole of Kenmore brookfield and western Brisbane by a million mile and a bit more ..
I can’t remember when was the last time I received a call from Vet surgery at 6:30 am after contacting them via SMS. Dr Charlie called me within 15 minutes of receiving the message !! Hats off to their care and compression.
My little boy - Buddy had surgery the same day and he is safe and back home.
Also M surprised how nurse Becky and almost everyone at reception

Great service and expertise from the Vets and staff at Brookfield Veterinary Surgery. They have looked after my mate Fergus for over 12 years as well as our cats and done a fantastic job . I thoroughly recommend them if you want to have your pets treated by people who really care about them and about you. I'd give them more stars if I could ! Congratulations !
