Recently celebrating 30 years, Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre is the longest established, and one of the largest, orthopaedic group practices in Perth. With thirteen orthopaedic surgeons and a sport and exercise medicine physician on site, the group provides a comprehensive range of orthopaedic sub-specialty services including, medical management and surgery for sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, ligament reconstructive surgery, and joint replacement.

Our group provides a wide range of Orthopaedic Sub-specialist care for both acute and chronic injury, sports injury, work related injury, and degenerative problems. Please note that all the practitioners in the clinic are specialists, and that a referral from another medical practitioner is required for an appointment.
Hip Surgery

The hip joint is a ball and socket synovial joint that connects the top of the thigh bone (femur) to the pelvic bone (acetabulum). The hip is held together by cartilage, muscle and ligaments.
