I had an appointment which was made 6 months ago. I waited 1 hour in the reception area, moved to the doctors room only to wait another 1/2 hour. There was no explanation of where the doctor was . Further investigation found he was in surgery, whilst I was waiting in the waiting room I did notice Peter strolling past me , which I may add was half an hour after my proposed appointment. I have never felt so worthless. Thought that I may have got a call from the surgery to try and reschedule. I obviously am not an important enough patient to be seen. So disappointed and saddened. Not sure what

My three surgical experiences with Dr DAlessandro have proven him to be a highly skilled, compassionate doctor, whose excellent surgical knowledge is matched by his post-operative follow up, clinical care and compassionate manner. I tore my left pec (musculotendinous junction) in late may this year while bench pressing. I am not able to recommend Peter D'Alessandro and the Coastal Orthopaedics team enough. After seeing him you will always feel like you are completely informed with what is required always makes sure his patients are at ease.
Peter is also always happy take time out of his busy schedule to answer questions or assist. In my opinion there is no other orthopaedic surgeon I would trust more.

As a case, I was complicated, I FIFO Internationally, short periods off, and carried rotator cuff tendon damage to both shoulders over 10 years, perhaps longer as 01 had separated completely. I selected Dr. Peter through his positive reviews, his willingness to first consult by SKYPE which was a major bonus since I was in Russia, scheduling to support my rotations and the fees meeting HBF schedule.
2 operations over 15 months, 01st major as the original tendon on 01 shoulder had retracted so far into my back it could not be recovered.
