Mother and daughter Shirley Struk and Deanne Bond could be considered Sydney's accidental restaurateurs. However, persistence, patience and pragmatism have seen this hard-working duo turn a derelict beachfront building into an award-winning eatery, popular with tourists and locals alike. Established in 2000 by Maroubra mother and daughter team Shirley & Deanne - ' We do what we love and we love what we do - as they say 'Life's a Beach'.
It was originally known as Pavilion Caf - after undertaking an extensive renovation in 2005 it re-opened as Pavilion Beachfront, a fully licensed restaurant and kiosk, unique with its wonderful uninterrupted scenic beach views.
