Services
Exercise Physiology
Exercise Physiology at Melbourne Yoga and Pilates focuses on injury rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and functional movement improvement. Our accredited professionals design evidence-based programs for musculoskeletal conditions, metabolic disorders, and mental health support. Clients benefit from tailored interventions that enhance mobility, reduce pain, and promote long-term wellness through structured exercise prescription.
Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates combines traditional Pilates techniques with physiotherapy principles to address postural imbalances, spinal health, and injury recovery. Sessions prioritise core stability, joint mobility, and muscle activation under the guidance of qualified instructors. This method is ideal for pre- and post-natal clients, post-surgical rehabilitation, and individuals seeking low-impact strength training with precise form correction.
Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage targets musculoskeletal pain and tension through deep-tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. Our accredited therapists address conditions like lower back pain, tension headaches, and repetitive strain injuries. Treatments improve circulation, reduce stress, and restore mobility, making it a valuable complement to exercise programs for holistic recovery and maintenance of physical health.
Corporate Fitness
Corporate Fitness services include onsite yoga, Pilates, and strength-training sessions designed to enhance workplace well-being. Programs aim to reduce stress, prevent sedentary-related injuries, and boost team cohesion. Tailored options like lunchtime yoga, desk-stretch routines, and team-building boot camps cater to busy professionals, fostering productivity and a healthier organisational culture.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy at Melbourne Yoga and Pilates addresses acute and chronic pain through manual therapy, movement analysis, and targeted exercise prescription. Our practitioners specialise in postural correction, sports injury recovery, and ergonomic assessments. By integrating hands-on treatment with functional training, we restore mobility, alleviate discomfort, and empower clients to maintain independence in daily activities and work environments.

I was referred to MYP by my GP a couple of years ago. Since then I have been training at MYP every week, with a home exercise program I follow outside of sessions. The motivation and support to get me to do this has been excellent. The whole team is incredibly supportive and friendly and now as we approach the end of 2021 I do my exercises very consistently and am getting stronger. I also generally have less aches and pains, have more flexibility and I am fittest I have been for a very long time. I highly recommend them!

I have tried many different types of gyms and classes, and it was only after joining MYP with their personalised 1 on 1 training (my choice) that is tailored to what suits me best that I have had continued success in achieving my health and wellbeing goals. I've enjoyed these sessions so much that I continued with them over Zoom during lockdowns and have even enjoyed learning pilates after not enjoying it in the past. I highly recommend MYP for their tailored 1 on 1 sessions and their friendly, personable, well qualified trainers.

I have been with Melbourne Yoga and Pilates for 18month after I was referred by my doctor. Previously I was very unfit and lockdown made it worse. I also struggled with motivation. I participate in the small clinical group classes and love them. They are tailored to what you need. I am now stronger and fitter, even through the lockdowns. Training on a regular basis has also helped my mental health as well. I really enjoy my weekly sessions with Molly, she is fantastic!

I was referred by my GP to work with the exercise physiologists at Melbourne Yoga and Pilates. I have previously seen other physios and EPs but have been unsuccessful at resolving my injuries. After 3 months at MYP, I feel the strongest that I have ever felt, my back is pain free and I am looking forward to working on some big surfing goals with my practitioner.

Was introduced to Melbourne Yoga and Pilates (MYP) by a friend and did two private group classes (pilates & HIIT) with my friends. Both of the experiences were great and we had a good time! I then became more interested doing a private training with MYP after getting to more about the services/ programs they offer. I've been to gym classes and other yoga & Pilates studios but did not pick up proper techniques as I have always been in group classes (trying to catch up on the class flow with everyone) which resulted in a lower back injury in 2019. I can feel the difference now after just 4 mths

I've been coming to MYP since last year because of my lower back pain and I've had personal training sessions and reformed pilates. I've also attended their yoga and pilates classes 1-2x a week consistently. When the stage 3 restrictions were imposed, MYP had been quick to respond by providing ZOOM sessions and I've been able to keep a consistent exercise routine. It's not just exercising that I get from them. I get to learn about being aware about my body and my postures and how to prevent and manage pains I get from working on the desk for extended hours. I've gradually but consistently been
