We source whole, pasture-raised livestock directly from farms committed to genuinely sustainable soil, plant and animal health. The animals live all or the majority of their lives outside, ranging freely in family groups on sustainably-managed pastures. The farmers practice regenerative agriculture and use various natural systems for achieving optimum soil fertility, including rotational grazing and fostering plant diversity.
Delivery & Pick Up

Place your order before midday for pick up after 10.00 am the following day. Choose your goods from the online shop and then 'select cart' to check you have everything you need and to find out when your order will be ready for pick up. We love it when you bring your own bag. We have lovely chilly bags if you forget, but it's always best to reuse bags you already own.

Cured meats

All our cured pork products are made from slow-growing, pasture-raised pigs and this is a rare thing. Think about it this way. Around 3% of Australian pigs are raised outside on pasture, healthy and free to do their piggy thing. Between 50-75% of most pigs are cured for ham, bacon, salami etc. Which means that, at most, only about 1.5% of the cured pork sold in restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, butchers and delis is made from pasture-raised pork.
Sausages / Burgers

Our sausages and burgers are hand made at Feather and Bone using natural skins and don't contain any preservatives, fillers or gluten (except for ones with beer). All meat used is fully pasture-raised and chemical, hormone and antibiotic-free. Produced at our Marrickville factory using available meat from the whole bodies we source directly from the farm.
