At Independent Disability Services we aim to empower people, enriching their quality of life. Our vision is for people with a disability to have the support they require to live the life they want. We provide range of in-home domestic support including grocery shopping and meal preparation, household chores, assisted exercise and more.
Our staff are experienced in a wide range of personal support such as grooming, showering/dressing, and accompanying you to appointments. We can help develop your confidence to use public transport, go shopping or to events with you, and help access the community for educational purposes. We can connect you to services that fit your needs, setting up supports, negotiating with providers and checking you are happy with your goals and plans.

The fees you pay depend on the services and support you select and reflect those allocated by the funding agency (NDIS, WorkSafe or TAC). We will negotiate an individual agreement, tailored to meet your unique needs. There are no hidden charges, and we offer an easy to follow approval and payment process, with monthly statements.

At Independent Disability Services (IDS), we do our best to match our volunteers with activities that align with their skills and passion. If you think you have a particular skill that would benefit our clients, we would love to meet with you to discuss volunteer opportunities.
