
Carinya Society provides adult training and support services to advance the independence, dignity, worth and human rights of people with disabilities. We run over 70 day programs for more than 110 participants. We also offer Community Respite Care and Specialist Disability Accommodation Services. Carinya Society is a special place for adults with disabilities, where they receive care and support to fulfil their hopes and dreams.
They are doing a wonderful job for us. I have a daughter that goes there and she is a very girly girl so she is so happy when they put on the pamper days for her. She adores the people that work at Carinya, and the opportunities that she has to do things from the beauty stuff right through to going fishing with the guys too.

Membership

Carinya Society has had a strong membership base since its inception and is privileged to have a number of Honorary Life Members. The purpose of the membership base is to guide Carinya, by electing the Board of Directors. The Board must report to the Membership (base) annually, both in financial and organisational terms.
Ndis
Report
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for people with permanent and significant disabilities across Australia, who meet the eligibility criteria. Individuals who are eligible will have an NDIS plan drawn up. Funding is allocated based on the individuals NDIS plan which includes support needs and goals that they would like to achieve.
