Desexing is one of the most important health measures you can do for your pets which offers many benefits for them. Pet Doctor's Puppy Pre-School classes are held at our Woodville clinic on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 8pm.

Microchipping

New laws enforced by the SA Dog and Cat Management Board will take effect. Microchipping is a permanent form of identification. It is the size of a grain of rice, which is implanted under your pet's skin. The microchip contains a unique number that is linked to your contact details on a national registry.
Vaccinations

We believe regular vaccinations starting in puppy/kittenhood are essential for the longevity of your pets and reduce the outbreak of preventable infectious diseases in the population at large. Distemper, which is a virus that affects the lungs, brain and gastrointestinal tract and can lead the animal to have a permanent disability.
Surgical

In addition to our digital Xray unit we have at our disposal the use of in-house endoscopy and ultrasound to aid us in our diagnoses. Our in-house facilities include urine, blood analysis and pathology. We are able to screen a wide range of conditions in determining your pet's health status and ability to tolerate anaesthesia.
Desexing Pets

Live in Adelaide or within Adelaide's Western Suburbs and need your cat, dog, rabbit or other small animal desexed? In females, it eliminates unwanted litters and uterine disease, as well as significant reduction in mammary tumours (breast cancer). Desexing for females is a day surgery. She is admitted in the morning and will be discharged late afternoon.

Pets cannot tell us when they don't feel well. A healthy appearing pet may be hiding symptoms of a disease or ailment.
