The Ipswich Vet Group has been caring for the pets of Ipswich since 1967 and over the years has grown to become the largest and longest-serving clinic in the area. The practice is jointly owned by Dr's Jason Wendt & Scott Campbell, who, between them have over 40 years experience as veterinarians. They believe that you and your pet deserve the highest standards of veterinary care and customer service and consistently strive to deliver both.
Meet The Team
Report
Jason attended Ipswich Boys Grammar, graduated with first class honours from the University of Queensland in 1996 and has worked in the local area ever since. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of veterinary medicine with both domestic and farm animals. He is particularly interested in small animal internal medicine and critical care and regularly attends further-education courses on the subjects.

We have the capability to run a wide variety of laboratory tests. Blood samples can be tested for a whole range of parameters and can help reveal abnormalities in the liver & kidneys, as well as detect diabetes, anaemia, infection and some cancers. Screening blood tests are routinely used prior to anaesthesia and for monitoring patients on long term medication.
House Call Service

We offer a range of services for house calls including vaccinations, health checks and euthanasia. We can also be book to transport your pet to and from our clinic for hospitalisation and surgery. Puppy Preschool
Report
Puppies develop their social skills between the ages of 6-16 weeks. Puppy preschool is designed to allow your puppy to socialise with other puppies. They will be introduced to basic commands in a safe, positive environment to help them get a start on becoming a polite, obedient, well behaved pet.

Choosing Ipswich Vet Group for your puppy's education and socialisation is providing you and your puppy with access to the knowledge of our team of vets and nurses with over 60 years of combined experience.We conduct our puppy pre-school in a clean and controlled environment within our Karalee Village Vet Clinic, with trained and qualified vet nurses on hand to facilitate classes.
