King Parrot Cottages and Event Centre provides accommodation near the Great Ocean Road and Lorne in the Otway Ranges, nestled on the north-facing hillside of the spectacular Pennyroyal Valley. Consisting five cottages, lodge, hall and campground, King Parrot is a popular destination for romantic getaways, family holidays and large family celebrations.
The architecturally designed accommodation is fully self-contained, ranging in size from single to four bedrooms, accommodating between two and fourteen people. Each offers comfort, character and privacy in a rustic bush land setting, including stunning valley views. Crisp, clean linen, pillows and doonas are provided for all bedding.

All cottages face north to capture as much sun and light as possible during the daytime and are all built from quality materials that match the bush setting with an eye for style and comfort.
Mannagum Cottage

Mannagum is a much loved and rambling 5-bedroom residence. Popular with family groups this cottage can accommodate 11 people in comfort. There are 3 king size bedrooms, 1 large bedroom with 4 single beds plus our little "Harry Potter" bedroom into which we squeeze a single bed. The spacious living area is open to a large functional, fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor deck area with a beautiful forest outlook.
Windmill Cottage

Windmill is our preferred cottage for wedding couples. The plan allows for an abundance of natural light enhancing the polished recycled timbers upstairs which houses the kitchen and living areas opening out onto an inviting deck area through double doors. The bathroom is on the middle level and a spacious double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed with crisp white sheets a warm doona on the lower level.

The lodge and hall complex is ideal for corporate conferences or wellness retreats. They are joined together by a short internal staircase. Both enjoy beautiful, stunning views across the Pennyroyal Valley. The hall is a large space measuring approximately 10 x 8m with polished floorboards, heating and cooling.
