Dr Andrew Argyle provides optimistic and forward-thinking leadership as our Hospital Director, as well as services the local community as an equine veterinarian through his equine practice Wollondilly Equine. Dr Andrew never fails to bring a smile to the faces of his staff and clients. His animal family consists of an array of dogs, cats and horses.

At Premier Vet Care, we endevour to be available to you to triage your animal companion and guide the most optimal level of emergency care. We can treat many emergencies here in our hospital, including wounds, broken bones, caesarians, foreign body ingestions, toxic events and more.

For emergencies requiring advanced or intenstive care, or when Dr Celia is unavailable, we can refer your pet to a high quality speciality Emergency Centre less than 1hr away!ARH Emergency Centre -- Wollongong is a new emergency center opened by the well-established Animal Referral Hospital group. We are fortunate that we can now rely on a high-standard and reliable quality emergency hospital in ready access to our clients.

On average, most of our pets age five to eight times faster than humans. Major health changes can occur in a short amount of time. The risk of cancer, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, heart disease and other serious conditions all increase with age. Today's pets are living longer than ever, chances are that many may experience a potentially serious illness during their lifetime.

A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and is injected under your pet's skin. It can be done during a normal consultation and does not require sedation. Very sensitive or small individuals may benefit from the use of a local anaesthetic cream prior to their visit (please discuss with our veterinarian if you are interested).
