Services
Meet Our Team
Report
Dr Ian has been in the practice for over 40 years. In his spare time he enjoys growing vegetables, talking to his chooks and goldfish, and being bossed about by his cats. Nurse Ash is our latest addition to our grooming team as well as being one of our valuable Veterinary Nurses. We proudly provide veterinary care and services for a range of animals in Yarraville and Melbourne's inner West.
Annual Health Check
Report
To keep your pet in the best possible health we recommend scheduling an annual health check. Provide pet care advice and suggestions that can help you keep your pet healthy and happy. If you have any special requests or specific concerns we ask that you make these known to our receptionist prior to consultation.
Vaccinations
Report
Vaccinations are a vital aspect of responsible pet ownership: they protect against preventable diseases and can help manage and prevent complications arising from a compromised immune system. They are also necessary for lodging your pet at boarding facilities or vet hospitals, as they protect your pet from unintentionally sharing, or catching, any preventable diseases.
Desexing
Report
Desexing, or neutering, is a soft tissue surgery performed on male and female pets in order to remove parts of their reproductive system. Called spaying in females, and castration in males, desexing can limit health issues that can arise from unwanted or early pregnancy, as well as behavioural and territorial issues associated with mating.
Dentistry
Report
Like us, our pets need regular dental checks to ensure that their teeth and gums are healthy. Dental disease affects 4 out of every 5 cats and dogs over the age of three years and, aside from being painful for your pet, can cause serious complications. A build-up of plaque and tartar that accumulates on your pet's teeth causes infection in the gums.
