Dr Steven Chau, the Founder of Athlete Psychiatry, is an experienced Sports Psychiatrist in Melbourne. Dr Chau specialises in managing the mental health of athletes with particular expertise and focus on mood and anxiety disorders, adult ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder and addiction (including problem gambling).

In order to make an appointment with Dr Chau, your GP or club doctor will need to forward a written referral. After receiving the referral, the reception team will contact you to arrange an appointment. This is a good time to ask any questions you may have.

If the referral is urgent or you would like to discuss the referral please call reception and asked to be put through to Dr Chau. Once a referral is accepted, the reception team will contact the patient to directly to organise an appointment.
