Austral Meat is a South Australian, family owned and operated business which allows full control of the product every step of the way, from sourcing livestock to processing, packaging and delivery. In the early 1990's, the Gepps Cross site, which is now the head office and processing facility, was purchased.

Our wholesale department works with customers to deliver a range of products that best suits their purpose. We service butchers, supermarkets, manufacturers and grocery stores nationally. With our specialised packaging and labelling options we are able to customise products to our customers' specific requirements.

From our processing facility in Adelaide, we have the ability to supply directly to chefs and kitchen management staff throughout Australia. We have a wide range of beef & veal, lamb, pork, poultry, manufactured products, smallgoods, and goat that can be cut in portion controlled sizes as per you specifications.

Austral Meat can supply all types and grades of beef, ranging from premium MSA grain fed, through to more economic lines. Our supply range also includes selected pasture fed products, from different regions of Australia. All cuts of beef can be delivered to your business in our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles, whether in the form of a whole carcass, primals or portion controlled cuts.
Lamb

Our livestock division buy livestock sourced from many areas around South Australia, including but not limited to regions such as Flinders Ranges, Fleurieu Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and the West coast of South Australia. This enables us to ensure a consistent quality all year round.
We also purchase certain cuts of lamb which are sourced from regions throughout Australia such as southern New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia - regions renowned for producing the best lamb.All cuts of lamb can be delivered to your business in our refrigerated fleet of vehicles, whether in the form of a whole carcass, whole primal or portion controlled cuts.
