The team at Blackwood are sensational. I’m extremely happy with the frames and lenses for my very strong glasses which I collected today. Thank you Steve for your assistance as always with making a good frame choice for the task, and then sourcing the not so common lenses which came back looking pretty good for what they are. This is just one of… my many happy moments since being a patient at Adelaide Eye Care. My family and I would be lost (and very challenged in the vision department for that matter!) without this wonderful optometry business.

Both my children have attended Adelaide Eye Care for a couple of years. The staff are lovely and Helen the optometrist was fantastic with my youngest (who was not even 3 at the time). Deffinately recommend

Really don't recommend for kids. My 8yo daughter was fairly anxious and the optometrist simply made comments like "We do this test on babies" and "maybe we can try again when she's being more rational". Left feeling like I hadn't been listened to. Should have gone to Specsavers.

Excellent practice. Optometrists are thorough and take their time with you. The optometrist noticed an irregularity in one of my eyes from a routine x-ray. I was referred to an ophthalmologist, who sent me to another specialist. After a scan and an appointment with another specialist it is now slowly getting sorted. Other Optometrists have never gone to this level of care, so I am extremely grateful that this was picked up.

Very professional, very friendly and thorough. My consultation was not rushed, in fact extra time was spent with me to ensure my new contact lenses would be perfect for my eye condition and my situation. If I could give 10 stars I would but sadly its only 5. I wish I had found them 10 years ago as it would have saved me so much time and money.
