Services
Laser Vision Correction
Our laser vision correction reshapes the cornea using excimer laser technology to treat myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. The iVis suite enables customised treatments like cTEN and LASIK, offering long-term vision improvement without glasses. Patients typically achieve functional vision within 1-10 days post-procedure, depending on technique.
Cataract Surgery
We perform micro-incision cataract surgery using 1.8mm incisions to replace cloudy natural lenses with artificial intraocular lenses. Advanced options include astigmatism-correcting and presbyopia-correcting implants, tailored to individual visual needs. The procedure permanently restores clarity without requiring ongoing maintenance.
Keratoconus Treatment
Our keratoconus management includes corneal collagen cross-linking to halt disease progression. Riboflavin drops combined with UV light strengthen corneal tissue, preventing severe vision loss. This evidence-based treatment reduces the need for corneal transplants while preserving ocular integrity in progressive cases.
Glaucoma Management
We diagnose and manage glaucoma through comprehensive optic nerve assessments and intraocular pressure monitoring. Treatment typically involves long-term medicated eye drops to prevent optic nerve damage. Regular follow-ups ensure disease progression is effectively controlled to preserve vision.
Pterygium Surgery
Our pterygium surgery removes abnormal conjunctival growths using graft techniques to reduce recurrence. Post-operative excimer laser treatment smooths corneal irregularities, restoring visual clarity. The procedure addresses both functional impairment and cosmetic concerns associated with advanced pterygium.

Questions
Am I suitable for laser vision correction?
Suitability depends on corneal thickness, prescription stability, and eye health. A comprehensive assessment determines eligibility for procedures like LASIK or cTEN laser techniques.
What cataract treatment options exist?
We offer micro-incision cataract surgery with advanced intraocular lenses, including astigmatism and presbyopia-correcting implants for improved post-operative vision quality.
How is keratoconus managed?
Corneal collagen cross-linking stabilises keratoconus progression. This treatment strengthens corneal tissue using riboflavin and UV light, reducing the need for transplants.
Do you require referrals?
Referrals are recommended but not mandatory. We accept self-referred patients for initial consultations and coordinate care with referring optometrists or physicians.
What diabetic eye screening services are available?
We provide comprehensive diabetic retinopathy screening using advanced imaging technology to detect early signs of diabetes-related eye complications, following RANZCO guidelines.
How to book an assessment?
Contact us via phone or online enquiry to schedule a consultation. Bring any existing eye health records and valid referrals for insurance coverage verification.

I was referred by specsavers to Dr. Ben LaHood for a chalazion on my left eye. He was very patient and explained the procedure very well. He also explained the cause of chalazion and how to avoid them in future. Great doctor and clinic.

Waited over an hour and a half to be seen by the doctor. Very good once seen by the doctor. I recommend bringing some change and walking to the coffee shop while you wait.
