Australia's Leading Nutrition Charity
Nutrition Australia is a non-government, non-profit health promotion charity dedicated to building nourishing and equitable food environments across Australia. Established in 1981, we work collaboratively with communities, organisations, and governments to deliver tailored programs, resources, and training that benefit children, young people, families, and older adults. Our evidence-based approach prioritises food equity, cultural inclusivity, and sustainability, guided by a commitment to independence from industry influence. With over four decades of experience, we provide accessible nutrition education through subsidised services, virtual support, and community partnerships.

Our team champions positive food relationships through initiatives like National Nutrition Week and National Lunchbox Week, while advocating for policies that promote affordable, nutritious food access. As Australia's leading community nutrition organisation, we maintain transparency in operations and foster genuine connections to address priority population needs. Our work spans early childhood education, schools, and aged care settings, ensuring practical solutions for diverse community groups. Through funded and low-cost programs, we strive to bridge access gaps and create sustainable food environments for all Australians.
