In that time we have grown to offer comprehensive veterinary care to treat dogs and cats as well as guinea pigs, birds, mice, rats and other household pets.
We would always attempt to offer a caring service as if each pet was one of our own. Our team of vets and qualified nursing staff deliver care for your pets comprehensive veterinary days a week. We open at 7.30 am on weekdays to allow early drop-offs for pets due for operations or that need to be left for working owners or clients who are unable to make it to our normal consulting times.

Meet our professional, experienced and compassionate vets at Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery & ACVet Hospital. Steve is the principal and owner of Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery. Steve graduated from Queensland Vet School with Honours in 1985 and after 2 years in Biloela, Central Queensland worked in the UK for the following 14 years.

Andrea can boast 40 years experience in Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary merchandising and 30 of those years have been spent at Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery. Andrea has a great knowledge of Veterinary products and has many years of experience in Surgical Nursing. Andrea is a fantastic and skilled nurse both in medicine but particularly in Surgery.
Emergencies

We are fully equipped and staffed to deal with emergencies and please remember we will see your pet in case of an emergency as a matter of urgency and given a priority to be seen. Appointments for emergencies are not necessary or possible in many circumstances but if there is the possibility of a phone call before arriving this will help us plan and prepare for the arrival of your pet.

Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery can help with many of your pets' behaviour problems. Please feel free to ring the surgery on 3264 1222 to arrange an appointment with your pet or a telephone consultation with one of our vets. If we feel we can't help you over the phone, we won't charge any fees and may recommend a visit or referral to a dog behaviour specialist.
