Mosman Swans Junior Australian Football Club

The Mosman Swans was founded in 1998 by Brett Davidson and Dan Milton-Hine and competed in the Northside Junior Australian Football Association for the first time in 1999. In 2012 Gary Forster & Michelle McKinnon launched a U15 Youth Girls team to partake in the inaugural Youth Girls Sydney Harbour competition, the girls teams have grown and had huge success over the past few years with around 50 girls registered to play in the Mosman Swans.

The NAB AFL Auskick program is where it all starts and is the best introduction for kids into the world of Australian Football. Auskickers run, jump, kick, pass and have fun while learning the basics of football. Through skill games, activities, and modified match practice, participants will learn and familiarise themselves with all the skills required to become the next AFL champion!

Junior Football is the next step for kids who are ready to move on from NAB AFL Auskick or other introductory school and/or community programs. It's the perfect environment for kids to have fun learning through play, make new friends and create memories that last a lifetime. Rules of matches are modified so children can continue to develop their skills in an enjoyable, safe atmosphere.

The Mosman Swans coaching appointment process encourages the rotation of coaches through a 2/3 year cycle. At the end of each season we call for expressions of interest in all coaching & assistant coaching positions. Where more than one person is interested in a head coaching position we will discuss alternatives with the applicants.
