Lane Cove FC is a community based football club with a 75 year history in the Lane Cove district of Sydney's lower North Shore. Our home grounds are Pottery Green in the heart of Lane Cove & Blackman Park in Lane Cove West, both located only 6km from Sydney's CBD. We have players of all levels and skills playing in the Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) competitions.
Our teams range from Under 6's in the MiniRoos competition to Over 45's in the senior Men's competition, with strong representation in the Girls and Women's competitions. Every year we field a strong contingent of junior mixed and girls teams and senior teams for men and women. Lane Cove Football Club is a community-based football club and aims to offer players of all backgrounds and capabilities an opportunity to play 'the world game' in a friendly and welcoming environment. Through a quality coaching program, Lane Cove aims to build the skills of all players and hence a love for the game.
History

In the 1950's the club, then known as Lane Cove United Soccer Football Club was forced to be reckoned within the Northern Suburbs Soccer Football Association (NSWSFA). Highlights included 'B' Grade Premiers in 1951, and A Grade undefeated premiers and Challenge Shield winners in 1959.
Lane Cove United also took out the NSWSFA Southern League Reserve Grade Minor Premiership in 1954, and in 1955 were the Reserve Grade Major Premiers, and also took the 'A' Division Reserve Grade Minor Premiership.The club remained a member of Northern Suburbs Soccer Football Association (which became Northern Suburbs Soccer Association) until joining Ku-Ring-Gai District Soccer Association (KDSA) in 1973.
