Edmonton Family Medical Centre is situated just off the Bruce Highway at Edmonton, about 13km south of Cairns city centre. We are surrounded by picturesque sugar cane farms, and have views of Trinity Inlet to the east and the northernmost reaches of the Great Dividing Range to our west. There has always been a medical clinic in Edmonton near the landmark Historic Hambledon Hotel for at least more than 30 years.
This has included the addition of more Doctors in our clinic, and visiting Dietician, Podiatrist and Cardiac Sonographer. The Medical Centre is also home to a Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Diabetic Educator and QML Pathology collection centre, creating a multi-service health precinct. We continue to provide a comprehensive range of cost effective medical services to the community of south Cairns.

Urgent cases will always be given priority, and these may cause the Doctor to run late for your booked appointment time. Our Reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your Doctor has been called away. Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our Receptionist if you require some extra time.
