Excel Tennis, under the direction of Head Coach Marcus Petrou, provides a comprehensive range of meticulously designed tennis programs which focus on developing technique, tennis fitness and the competitive edge for those progressing to high performance play.Excel Tennis provides the full range of coaching services, 6 days a week, from 8am until 9:30pm.

Tennis is considered "the best first sport" for children and at Excel Tennis we provide players aged from 4 to 17years with high quality junior group tennis coaching programs. Our 4 coaching programs are specifically designed to suit all skills sets from beginner to aspiring professional.

The first 3 programs; Munchkin Tennis, Orange Ball and Green Ball, all include child-scaled equipment, including smaller courts, racquets and low-compression balls.The programs and equipment are engineered to help develop skills faster, resulting in a more tactically and technically proficient player at a younger age.

The Orange Ball program is where we start to examine every stroke as it applies to learning good tennis technique. Each session combines coaching and games to challenge the players. Excel Tennis coaches are strong advocates for enjoying the game and having fun while we learn and perfect our tennis.

Squad Coaching is the ideal program for those that are enjoying their tennis with a Group and / or Private Coaching program and would like to advance their tennis to the next level. Squad Coaching challenges each player with different drilling and match play scenarios than Group and Private Coaching, to help give each player the confidence to play and compete at their best.

The Orange Ball Squad is for players aged between 7yrs to 10yrs who would like a head start with their tennis development to ensure good habits are learnt early to lay a solid foundation. With the addition of Squad Coaching which has different drilling and match play scenarios than Group and Private Coaching, each player is given the confidence to play at their best.
