Based in Fletcher NSW, Fletcher Vet has been caring for pets and their families from Maryland, Wallsend, Minmi, Newcastle and the surrounding area since 1998. At Fletcher Vet, we're pet owners ourselves, so we know that keeping your animal healthy matters. Whether you bring your dog, cat, rabbit or another beloved family member in to see us, we truly care about the pets and people we serve.
We enjoy a reputation as one of Newcastle's best vet practices. Dr Paul Robin and his team have been caring for local pets (and their families) since 1998. Going to the vet can be a big deal for your pet, and for you. We want you both to feel at home when you visit so we've worked hard to make your visit as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

We offer a variety of payment plans for our clients in order to take the financial pressure off veterinary care and treatment. We offer Zip and VetPay for post-treatment plans, as well as discounts for pension and concession card holders. We also offer our own in-clinic program, PrePay, allowing you to build up a savings account for your pet for use on services or products in the future.
Desexing & Surgery
Report
Desexing benefits both you and your pet. We know you want the absolute best for your furry friend, so we offer a range of extra services alongside desexing to keep your pet comfortable. Our experienced team will walk you through the entire desexing process, including pre, during, and post-surgery. When you book your pet in for desexing, remember they can't get wet for 10 to 14 days after surgery.
Wellbeing
Report
Vaccinating your pet protects them and other pets around the region from infection. Puppies and kittens are at a higher risk of contracting contagious viruses and require more vaccinations than adults. Adult pets will require regular vaccinations to maintain their immunity.
Every animal is different, so we recommend booking in for a complete general health checkup with one of our knowledgeable veterinarians to determine the best protection for your pet.In the unfortunate event that your pet gets lost, microchipping greatly improves the chance of you being reunited. All dogs and cats in Australia are legally required to be microchipped by law.

Puppy Preschool
Report
Puppy Preschool is the best way for your new addition to learn how to socialise and be part of the family. After five weeks of puppy training, your puppy will be able to sit, drop, stay, come and roll over on command. They'll learn to interact well with other puppies, and how to walk on a lead. Owners will learn even more than their puppies.
