Meet The Team
Report
We love getting to know you and your fur family. Here is some insider information about our Motto Farm family so you can get to know us too. After graduation in 1993 from Sydney University he began working with Dr Robert Zammit and had the opportunity to increase his knowledge and skills in all aspects of small animal veterinary science with the particular interest in small animal reproduction.
Export & Pre-Flight Exams
Report
The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) manages quarantine controls at Australian Borders to minimise risk of exotic pests and diseases entering and leaving the country. At Motto farm Vet Hospital we have vets who are AQIS Accredited and are able to provide you with the correct documentation and required health checks to ensure your pet is ready for a big journey overseas.
Pocket Pets
Report
Diet and enclosure is the most important part about keeping a pet rabbit. Think about a rabbit in the wild and what they eat and then try to mirror that for your own pet. They need a lot of forage like timothy or grass hay, grass and leafy greens and minimal access to commercial pellets and highly concentrated foods.
Geriatric Care
Report
While they still need their yearly vaccinations, we recommend senior pets have 6 monthly check ups with the vet to keep them in good health in their golden years. With this examination we can detect early changes in your pets body and create a tailored treatment plan, including lifestyle modifications to keep your pet as healthy and as active as possible.
Behavioural Consultations
Report
Like all veterinary problems it is important that we make the correct diagnosis before coming up with a treatment plan. This often means that to treat a behavioural problem, further investigation is required to rule out possible medical conditions first. During your consultation with one of our vets, they will perform a full physical examination and often recommend blood tests and a urine-analysis.
