Services
We love getting to know you and your fur family. Here is some insider information about our Motto Farm family so you can get to know us too. After graduation in 1993 from Sydney University he began working with Dr Robert Zammit and had the opportunity to increase his knowledge and skills in all aspects of small animal veterinary science with the particular interest in small animal reproduction.
The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) manages quarantine controls at Australian Borders to minimise risk of exotic pests and diseases entering and leaving the country. At Motto farm Vet Hospital we have vets who are AQIS Accredited and are able to provide you with the correct documentation and required health checks to ensure your pet is ready for a big journey overseas.
Diet and enclosure is the most important part about keeping a pet rabbit. Think about a rabbit in the wild and what they eat and then try to mirror that for your own pet. They need a lot of forage like timothy or grass hay, grass and leafy greens and minimal access to commercial pellets and highly concentrated foods.
While they still need their yearly vaccinations, we recommend senior pets have 6 monthly check ups with the vet to keep them in good health in their golden years. With this examination we can detect early changes in your pets body and create a tailored treatment plan, including lifestyle modifications to keep your pet as healthy and as active as possible.
Like all veterinary problems it is important that we make the correct diagnosis before coming up with a treatment plan. This often means that to treat a behavioural problem, further investigation is required to rule out possible medical conditions first. During your consultation with one of our vets, they will perform a full physical examination and often recommend blood tests and a urine-analysis.

I did not have an appointment yesterday when I turned up and rang the clinic at 8am, very distressed about my baby.
From the first phone call In the morning, to the beautiful nurse who comforted me while they took Tilly inside to the phone calls during the day and finally when I picked Tilly back up at 5.30, the beautiful staff at motto farm could not have been more amazing during our experience yesterday.
Thank you so much for making yesterday easier for me and taking such good care of my girl ❤️

This is a relatively new vet for our mini schnauzer (Oscar) and we find them to be kind (like most vets) and also reasonably priced...not like all vets. Oscar is already seeing the benefits of a new diet (which seems to work) to manage his scratching and having his teeth cleaned of plaque buildup.

Our beloved dog Roxy has been wonderfully looked after by Martin and his team for the last 14 years.
We can't speak highly enough of the care she has received over this time.
A wonderful practice with caring staff. Thank you for everything you have done for her and what you will continue to do as she gets older. If you want the best care available for your pet this is the place to go.

A lovely team of people.
They helped with our Flemish bunny and were there when he had to go to sleep. They were so kind and supportive, and the sympathy note was such a lovely gesture that really helped.
I will go there for all of my animal needs now
