Meet Our Team
Report
Enjoys working with clients, many of whom have become good friends over that 38 years as well as working with clinic staff. I have a special interest in treating injured wildlife, but mostly love to work with clients and their pets. I'm a QLD girl who graduated from the University of QLD in 2012, and made the trip to Raymond Terrace to start my first job as a veterinary surgeon.
Cat Vaccination
Report
Vaccination has revolutionised control of infectious disease in our pets. It is essential that all pets are adequately vaccinated to help protect the pet population as a whole. Responsible pet care requires kittens to be given their initial course of vaccinations, but this cannot protect them for the rest of their lives.
Clinical Pathology
Report
Clinical pathology involves the laboratory evaluation of blood, fluids or body tissues in order to identify existing disease. Common laboratory tests include blood chemistries, complete blood counts, blood clotting times, urinalysis, faecal tests, biopsy examination, cultures and infectious disease testing.
Dentistry
Report
Dentistry is a rapidly growing area of veterinary science. We have seen a greater awareness over the last 25 years of its importance to the overall health of the animals we treat. Just like humans, pets' teeth need looking after too! The health of their teeth and gum's has a significant impact on their overall quality of life.
Desexing
Report
Desexing or neutering your pet is a surgical procedure that prevents them from being able to reproduce. In male pets it is commonly referred to as "castration", and in female pets as "spaying".This is the most frequent surgery performed by our vets, and generally your pet is home by the evening of surgery.
