In a small town on the outskirts of Brisbane two young jewellers Bruce Hume and Darren Ryan had a vision to deliver high quality handmade jewellery and on-site repairs. In 1995 the vision of these two young jewellers came to life when they started their own company based around high quality handmade jewellery and on-site repairs but also embraced a mission for the discovery of perfection built around a real promise.

Our onsite jewellers can repair and service a wide range of jewellery, all completed onsite at our North Lakes Showroom and workshop. I've had three resizing / repairs done at Gold River and can't sing their praises more highly. Always done perfectly, in less than 24 hours and for a very competitive price.

Mined Diamonds

Diamond value is greatly associated with its colour grading whereby the lower the colour the greater the value. The diamond colour scale begins with D which resembles colourless and ends at Z which represents a tinted colour of brown or yellow. When choosing a diamond try to choose as close to colourless as possible, unless choosing a fancy coloured diamond such as yellow, pink or blue.
Lab Grown Diamonds

A Lab Grown Diamond is a real diamond that was created in a laboratory under highly controlled conditions that replicate the Earth's natural growth process of crystallising carbon. They should not be confused with Diamond Simulants, Cubic Zirconia's or Moissanite's. Lab Grown Diamonds have the same chemical composition, molecular and physical structure as well as the optical properties of mined diamonds.
