Bill completed his law degree at the University of Queensland in 1978. He began his legal career with a Brisbane firm before working for two years as the Company Secretary of Suncorp at its Head Office. In 1989 he commenced working as a Solicitor in Caloundra and established Bill Lyons Solicitors in 1996.
