Acupuncture & Dry Needling are used at Advantage Healthcare & Physiotherapy as part of an overall Physiotherapy treatment program. Advantage Physiotherapy was started as a small, family run business in 2004. The initial aim of the clinic was to establish a boutique service offering superior clinical expertise, long term solutions to musculo-skeletal problems in a comfortable, friendly environment. We wanted our workplace to feel like a family, with everyone working together to achieve optimal health.

Amie graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies in 2013, after completing a Bachelor of Human Movement Studies (Exercise Physiology) in 2011 at the Queensland University of Technology.Anna graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2016 and completed her pilates qualification through the Pilates Institute of Queensland in 2018.

Women's Health Physiotherapy is a segement of physiotherapy that focuses on women's health issues, including, but not limited to: bladder, bowel and pelvic floor incontinences. Shockwave therapy works by transmitting radial pressure waves or vibrations into your bodies tissues to stimulate the healing process.
