Lockridge Medical Centre
The Lockridge Medical Centre is committed to the provision of quality medical care to the community of Lockridge and surrounding suburbs. Established in 1978, the practice doctors and patients have contributed to the training of a generation of medical students and postgraduate doctors. As a teaching practice, we work hard to maintain a high standard of care.

To minimise exposures we will be converting all booked appointments to telehealth during this current lockdown period.

Our Team
Report
All the doctors in the practice have satisfied the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and are either on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners, or in the process of gaining their Vocational Registration. We are committed to providing high quality general practice and are involved in continuing professional development.
Services
Report
Our doctors have a broad range of experience in general practice. In addition to general consulting, many special services are available. Since welcoming Dr Koh we have introduced a new service to women who wish to use an alternative in contraception. This practice does provide home visits for regular patients, who live in Lockridge or neighbouring suburbs, and are too frail or sick to attend the surgery.

Chronic Disease Management
Report
Chronic disease refers to illness that persists, rather than those conditions that resolve after a single episode. We have been using Lockridge for nearly two years. It was good in the past especially their nice and helpful nurses. However, the experience we had today with this center was terrible. Our 2-year-old daughter is unwell with rash and mild fever. We booked an appointment with a doctor online and when my husband took the little one there, we were refused. The reason is concern about COVID 19 and we were told we should have booked the telephone diagnosis. Well, how can a doctor assess a little kid’s rash over the phone? With no data about community transmission in WA at the moment, how a little girl

Dr. D'Souza has treated my family well on many occasions. The reason I trust him is because his qualification from Birmingham Uni as an ENT specialist and surgeon with an FRCS makes him more than competent to assess many conditions that GPs are trained to assess. This is an old guy who has basically retired from his time as a specialist and choosing to be a GP. He gives the patient time to heal and advises that certain conditions simply require time. He has been right so far. The other doctor with the same approach is Dr. Pritchard. I cannot comment on the other doctors because I have placed my

Absolutely disgusted with Nadine Perlen and the way she spoke to me when I was coming from a place of caring and concern for my son. She verbally abused me like a wild psychotic ‘mad woman’. She needs to learn how to treat her patients with respect in an assertive manner.

Visited Sara Newman with my mum & was disappointed with the callous attitude. Mum had difficulty hearing the questions, however they were not repeated. A SMILE, SYMPATHY & EMPATHY for an elderly patient who was very sick would have gone a long way......after all is this not what the profession is all about???
The ladies at the reception were exceptional, kind & welcoming. Maybe learn from their exemplary attitude.

Arrived 10min early to my appointment to be told there was one person before me who had not arrived yet. 20min after my app scheduled time still not seen. Question with reception and told the Dr has put another person infront of me now. What's the point of making appointments if the doctors don't even stick to them? But god forbid I'm running late and miss a appointment I'm charged?

Diabolical trying to get through to this practice on the phone. I just rang 16 times consecutively (yes I counted) and not a pick up!!!! You can't make an appointment till 8.00am on the day and try getting through then!!! On-line booking system works fine as long as you aren't actually sick or you can plan to be sick in a few days.
