Desexing
Report
Veterinarians recommend desexing for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it prevents unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. In females, the spay procedure removes the reproductive organs and immediately stops hormonal cycles with the associated bleeding in bitches, and risk of pregnancy.
Castration of males can help prevent wandering tendencies which can lead to traffic accidents as well as some territorial behaviours in cats such as urine marking and fighting. The latter can lead to many an unplanned vet visit due to injuries which can in themselves require surgery and extensive treatment to resolve.

Vaccinations
Report
Vaccinations are very important and protect your pets against infectious and potentially fatal diseases. To maintain this immunity, the kittens and cats must be vaccinated once every 12 months. The vaccines will protect the cats from three infectious diseases - Feline enteritis, Cat Flu and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
Dentistry
Report
Your pet's dental health is one of the most overlooked and undervalued aspects of their health and well being. Periodontal disease is the most common clinical condition occurring in adult dogs and cats, and is generally preventable. By three years of age, most dogs and cats have some evidence of periodontal disease.
