We will be here for the long haul, developing long and trusting relationships with our patients and the people who love them, so they feel confident, comfortable and loved when they visit us. Services
Behind the Scenes
Report
The first thing you'll notice about Maroochy District Animal Hospital (MDAH) is that our facility looks a whole lot different to other vet clinics. That's because MDAH has been designed and equipped to meet the Queensland Veterinary Surgeons Board specifications for a veterinary hospital. The 'HOSPITAL' moniker can be a bit confusing.
General Veterinary Care Services
Report
Our healthcare team can assist you with education, advice and care to ensure your pet has the happiest and healthiest life possible. We provide a full range of medical facilities for the diagnosis and treatment of dogs and cats. In order to keep informed on current therapies and procedures our veterinarians and nursing team regularly attend relevant seminars and education programs.
Flea and Worming Treatments
Report
We recommend and stock a variety of healthcare products for your pets to protect against creepy crawlies such as fleas, mites, lice and intestinal worms. Please contact us for advice so we can recommend a product that suits your pet, environment and budget. We will tailor make a parasite control program for your individual pet, depending on his/her lifestyle and choosing amongst a number of excellent products now available.
Vaccinations & Heartworm
Report
Our vaccination protocols are based on recommendations of the Vaccination Guideline Group (VGG) of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA). Lifelong annual health checks, vaccinations, and preventative health care are all a central parts of our commitment to keeping your pet in great health, and enjoying a fabulous quality of life from infancy to old age.
Radiology
Report
Our x-ray facilities allow us to investigate animal injuries and health problems. Having the equipments on hand means we are able to quickly diagnose injuries particularly in emergency situations. This is convenient for you as your pet can have all treatment done at the hospital and also means our patients are given the best opportunity for recovery.
