If you are a private patient, you DO NOT need a referral to be treated by our physiotherapists. Workers compensation, Veteran Affairs and Motor Vehicle Accident will require a Doctors referral prior to being assessed by a Physiotherapist. Yes you can! We have a iSoft terminal on site which allows us to directly communicate with your health fund and the option of EFTPOS or cash for any gap payment.

All our therapists are required to complete the compulsory 2 hours of training per fortnight to stay up to date with the latest trends and research. Upon your initial visit our physiotherapist will take you through an assessment so they can get an accurate diagnosis, which will allow them to tailor a treatment plan suited towards your dysfunction.

A CDM/ EPC plan is designed for patients with chronic conditions and when physiotherapy treatment will help in the rehabilitation phase. The aim of this service is to improve the health and quality of life of these people with a chronic/complicated or terminal condition. To receive a Medicare rebate for physio treatment at Central Physio Bayswater a GP must refer you with an EPC plan.
