Patient care will not be discussed via email. This is not only a legal requirement, but ensures patients receive the appropriate time and care from their practitioner. A referral is recommended due to recent changes to the Medicare system where a patient that has been referred by a medical practitioner, such as a GP or specialist, a higher Medicare rebate will apply.

Orthotics

Foot orthotics are commonly used in the treatment of a number of lower limb conditions. They act to alter abnormal biomechanical stresses on the components of the lower limb or to alter weight-bearing pressures on the foot. Our orthotics are manufactured from EVA, a high density composite foam material that is comfortable, user-friendly and suitable for a range of loads, foot pathology and activity levels.

Compartment Pressure Testing (CPT) is used to diagnose Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome, a common cause of exercise-related leg pain. Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome classically presents as a gradual increase in pain during continuous activity, exacerbated by increases in distance or intensity of exercise, often forcing the person to cease the activity.
