Services
Consultaion & Vaccination
Report
Our pets age much quicker than we do making annual health checks important, we can pick up any health problems if they arise and start treating them early giving your pet the best chance of a full recovery. When vaccinating puppies and kittens need a course of injections before they start annual vaccinations.
Desexing
Report
Desexing or neutering your pet is a surgical procedure that prevents them from being able to reproduce. In male pets it is commonly referred to as "castration", and in female pets as "spaying". This is the most frequent surgery performed by our vets, and generally your pet is home by the evening of surgery.
Behaviour
Report
There are a range of situations where it may be beneficial to see your vet if you are worried about your pet's behaviour. Fearful conditions such as panic attacks, separation distress and noise and thunderstorm phobias. A discussion on dog and cat psychology so we can understand their brain function and why they behave in certain ways.
Surgery
Report
The hospital performs a wide range of surgical procedures at the hospital on a daily basis. Surgery of skin, muscles and organs. We commonly perform mass removals for skin lumps but also offer more advanced procedures such as anal gland removal, eye surgery (including cherry eye surgery), bladder surgery and exploratory laparotomies for treatment of many conditions including foreign body ingestion, diagnostics and cancer treatment.
Dentistry
Report
Dental Disease is really common in our pets. Up to 50% of dogs and 40% of cats will have signs of dental disease by the age of 4. Our pets are very good at hiding signs of dental disease and will often eat and 'act normally' even with very diseased teeth. Dental disease is a painful condition, causes infection and has been linked to disease elsewhere in the body including heart disease, kidney and liver disease.
