We applied for a review from the Tribunal's decision when the member overlooked an important piece of information that was given at the Tribunal hearing. The Department's solicitors realized the Tribunal's mistake and now the matter has been sent back to the Tribunal for processing.

Weighbridge lawyers completely mishandled my conveyancing matter - they forgot the date of settlement, did not review my contract of sale, calculated all the settlement adjustments wrongly and I was charged a late fee by the bank as Weighbridge did not book in settlement on time. They also did not pass on the settlement cheques to the water company, council or strata, nor did they let them know I was the new owner of the property. As a result, there were many outstanding bills accruing interest that I wasn't aware of. I was almost $2,000 out of pocket because of their mistakes and am still dealing
