We have been operating since 2005. We are a team of 4 experienced and highly skilled physiotherapists, working collaboratively on complex cases to provide our clients with the highest level of physiotherapy care to solve pain and movement problems, paving the way for recovery of function and wellbeing.
We are problem solvers. We look beyond our client's immediate presentation of pain, injury or movement dysfunction to understand the circumstances that have led to the problem, and factors that must be dealt with to achieve the best outcome for our clients. Our physiotherapists are Kate Thomas (Principal) and senior physiotherapists Paula Munden, Heather Rae and Sarah Jane Benson.

                                                                                        Report

SCOLIOSIS is a 3 dimensional deformity of the spine that causes postural asymmetry and potentially drives spinal pain. Adult Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) develops during adolescence and progresses during the adolescent growth spurt. This is the crucial period for appropriate management of a developing scoliosis.

                    Vestibular & Balance Disorders
                                                                                        Report

Disorders of the vestibular system may cause dizziness or vertigo (dizziness with a rotary component), nausea, and loss of balance. Left untreated, these symptoms can be disabling. Physiotherapists trained in vestibular rehabilitation can help affected clients overcome unpleasant and disabling vestibular symptoms, promoting recovery and return to usual activities of daily life.

                    Pregnancy and Post-Natal Care
                                                                                        Report

Pregnancy poses unique challenges on a woman's body. Pregnancy-induced biomechanical, hormonal, and vascular changes may lead to a variety of musculoskeletal problems causing discomfort during pregnancy. The enlarging uterus alters the body's centre of gravity and applies mechanical stresses on the body.

                    Core Muscle Training
                                                                                        Report

Core muscle training specifically strengthens the deep muscles that supportive the bony structure of the spine. This is vital for maintaining integrity of the spine, and helping prevent spinal discomfort. We undertake early core muscle training under ultrasound imaging to verify appropriate activation of the deep core muscles that support the spine.
