Bike Fit
Report
As most cyclists will know, being comfortable on your bike is critical, particularly as you increase the distances and times of your rides. It is important to consider both your body and your bike when setting yourself up, as an incorrect bike set-up or poor technique can lead to acute and chronic injuries or decreased cycling performance.
Falls Program
Report
As our community ages there is an increased risk of falling. Whilst that may seem reasonably innocuous at first glance, there are serious implications and consequences from a fall in the elderly particularly. Fractures are more likely in that population due to lower bone mineral leading to more fragile bones.
Massage
Report
Tae is a Remedial Massage Therapist, originally from Japan and has been living in Tasmania for 5 years. Since residing in Hobart, her technique has developed through integrating Remedial Massage with acupressure and myofascial release where she finds the effective release of tension and tightness. Her current interest is to study more about myofasicia and the meridian system to offer a holistic approach in the future.
