Amy Little was recommended to me by my partner's lawyer when my partner and I agreed to put a Financial Agreement (BFA) in place. Amy was lovely to work with. However, I was shocked with the final bill. When I talked to Amy about the ball park cost, she said that it was going to be around $1,000-$2,000 depending on the quality of the draft of the BFA. However, she did not mention that there is a Letter of Advice which costs $1,260 (excl. GST). The Letter of Advice in my view is pretty much done from the template that she has, however, she insisted that it was tailor made. In total, I paid over

I was not a “client of this firm” I was a opposing party. This firm which was represented by Amy Little do not put the best interest of the child first in proceedings and from the figures they threatened me with (they applied for costs which they didn’t win) they are bloody expensive. Avoid this company if you want the best outcome for a child and you don’t have a very full wallet!

My experience at DA Family Lawyers was the best representation I could've asked for. All the staff were compassionate and caring and treated me like they genuinely cared for me and my circumstances. I see negative reviews and I absolutely cannot relate to anything negative regarding my experience. I built a good rapport with my solicitor and sometimes listening to advice you may not want to hear or follow is what will end up getting you the best outcome, in my case I am so thankful I did, both Deborah and Lisa are very experienced. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone!
