He enjoys all areas of general practice and sees pet ownership as one of the best experiences life has to offer. Our Nurses
Report
Mel has been in the industry for 15 years and has been part of the Struggletown team for the last 10. Mel has been our head nurse for a while and has recently taken on the role of practice manager as well. Mel is our very own cat whisperer and has a real passion for kitten rescue and will try to attempt to save anything that has a chance.
Puppy School
Report
Puppy School offers a safe and pleasant environment to socialise your puppy with other puppies of a similar age. This is of great importance as it helps your pup learn how to behave with other dogs, people, and children - an essential skill for everyday living. Holding classes in our veterinary hospital means your puppy will learn that it is fun to go to the vet and will not develop a "fear of the vet".
Consultations
Report
We offer professional consultations on a wide range of problems, for all domestic pets. Appointments are available from 8am - 8:30pm weekdays, 9am - 4:30 pm Sat, 9am - 3:30 pm Sundays. We work on an appointment basis to help reduce waiting times to a minimum, we will try our best to accommodate walk-in consultations and of course emergencies wherever possible.

Report
Vaccination appointments always include a full physical examination and discussion of preventative care and any problems you may have with your animal. The appointment usually takes 15- 20 minutes. Struggletown uses the most up to date vaccines giving the highest level of protection.
