Excellent food, warm service. Authentic Egyptian food, I basically felt like I was back home in Alexandria Egypt. Highly recommend the kibda and the mix grill for two! This will be the place I always come back to in Melbourne.

The food was good, however, we waited over 30 minutes for anyone to take our order, and then another hour or until we received our forst dish. We were not given water at our table. The wait staff were not good with communicating. We went to leave before all of our food had arrived but staff then brought out a dish, but we still waited another 30min for the final dish. Total of 2 hour wait time between walking in and receiving our last dish. We overheard several groups and peoole leave before we did for the same reason.

The most authentic, delicious, and amazing Egyptian food I had in years. Molokheya, mumbar, chicken, and rise, are all to the point. Very friendly owner and staff. Totally recommended.
