Established in 1878, the Norwood Football Club is one of the oldest senior football clubs in South Australia and has a unique place on South Australia's sporting stage. We are an authentic, traditional club with deep and valuable community roots holding a vision firmly focused on future growth on both a local and national scale.
With one of the largest membership bases in the SANFL, we play at one of the most iconic suburban venues in Australia. We have a rich history of success in senior South Australian football with 30 SANFL Premierships and one SANFLW Premiership. We exist to win premierships on the field, and make our community proud away from it, and are focused on building on our many successes into the future.

Report
After 23 years in the competition, the Redlegs at last found a permanent home at Norwood Oval. The club had played home matches on the east parklands from 1878, before moving to Kensington (1882) and finally to the Jubilee Oval (1898). Not until the 1890s was Clarke's Vineyard in the heart of Norwood, earmarked as a recreation ground by a private company.

One way that you can ensure that this work continues is to leave a bequest for the club in your will. The most adaptable form of a bequest is a proportion or percentage of your estate. By using this kind of bequest you need not worry about the effects of inflation or changes in the size of your estate.
