The Modbury Bowling Club is a little gem of a bowling club located in the Adelaide Foothills. Surrounded by trees, you won't find a more picturesque club in Adelaide. Hidden away from the main roads you will find the club down Jack High Lane pass Waterworld. With 2 grass and 2 synthetic greens, the Modbury Bowling Club provided all year round bowling to its members and the local community.
Our modern club rooms can support up to 300 people for events and functions. We provide our facilities to sponsors, schools, and others to enjoy the great game of lawn bowls. Our club rooms are available for hire at very competitive rates. During the winter we offer our members and the community indoor bowls and a great social environment.

Modbury Bowling Club is available to Social Clubs and other organisations to give lawn bowls a try. People enjoy learning this new sport and coupled with our amazing range of drinks at the bar and catering packages it makes a memorable time for all. Your Club or Business Presentation Night can be held at the Modbury Bowling Club.
Bowls

If you want a challenge then pennant is the game for you. Consider playing for the Modbury Bowling Club in the local SA Metropolitan Bowls Association Competition. You will be competing with other clubs from around the Metropolitan area, where you would be wearing the club colours and strive to get to and win the finals.
Night Owls

We provide lawn bowls competitions on Wednesday & Thursday evenings during Daylight Saving here at Modbury Bowling Club, starting at 7.00pm and finishing about 9.30pm. All you need are bare feet, socks, thongs or flat soled shoes. The Club can supply you with bowls and we have a great team that will give you any help you need.
Social Bowling

Social Outdoor Bowls are played all year round on Tuesday, Fridays (and Saturdays in winter months) starting at 12 noon. There are prizes for the winners and dependent on the number of entries there can be more prizes added on the day. We also have a random Jackpot draw on some days. The preferred method of entering is via the Entry Sheets in the clubhouse.
