Bryan 'Uncle Bob' grew up in East Killara and has operated Uncle Bobs Carpentry in St Ives and surrounding suburbs for over 20 years. He and his team have extensive experience with homes and units specific to the north shore. When Bryan started out he was trying to think of a name. His niece (3 at the time) was infatuated with Bob the Builder, a British children's tv series popular in the late '90s / early '00s.
Assuming all builders were called Bob, she would erupt into the "Can We Fix It, Yes We Can" song every time she saw him. Even though the tunes have stopped and she is starting university soon, the name remains. We encourage all potential customers considering work on their home to do a licence check with NSW Fair Trading, this is particularly important if considering major works.

Uncle Bobs Carpentry provides carpentry and maintenance services for investors, strata managers, homeowners & business owners in and around St Ives. A normal week for us could include installing cabinetry in an ultra-modern unit, fixing draughts in a Pettit and Sevitt home, replacing a rotten deck on a valley home and respectfully restoring wainscoting in a heritage home.
