Cogent Scaffolding began as a business of 3 family members, the O'Brien's, with another 3 scaffolders back in 2003. Since then our company has gone from strength to strength as we take on larger and more complex projects, becoming a supplier to Tier 1 construction companies throughout Queensland. We have grown from 3 scaffolders in 2003 to 80+ in 2020 plus another 10 in our management team.

We distribute a regular Newsletter to our employee's that provides information on Cogent Scaffolding as a business as well as articles that include information about our strategic direction, projects, exercise, recipes, mental health and well-being and a range of other interesting topics.
Scaffolding Association Queensland

The Scaffolding Association Queensland (SAQ) was formed in 1994 to increase the level of professionalism in an industry too often ignored or misrepresented in the building process. Before the Scaffolding Association Queensland was formed, Queensland's scaffolding industry had no organisation to represent their industry.
